Certificate Course in Prevention and Management of Hypertension

CCPMH is a 6 modular distinctive course developed by Public Health Foundation of India(PHFI) for Primary Care Physicians(PCPs)to be delivered once a month on weekend in an online mode. The course is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of hypertension and its efficient management including pathophysiology, diagnosis, and management. This course will aid in learning latest advances in hypertension management and develop the necessary skills to diagnose and manage hypertension in different populations and reducing the risk of severe health complications. The course curriculum comprises an overview of Hypertension, Screening and Diagnosis of Hypertension, Lifestyle Changes & Non-Pharmacological Management of Hypertension, Approach to Pharmacotherapy of Hypertension-Part 1, Approach to Pharmacotherapy of Hypertension-Part 2 and Management of complications and Special situations in Hypertension. This course is targeted to reduce the disease burden of NCDS in India and the knowledge and skills acquired will better equip the PCPs to address the growing NCD challenge in India, ultimately improving patient outcomes.
