Certificate Course in Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (CCGDM) is a four modular joint certificate program developed between Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) and academic partner Dr. Mohan’s Diabetes Education Academy (DMDEA) to enhance knowledge, skills and core competencies of PCPs, Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in the management of gestational diabetes. The program is being implemented PAN- India level by PHFI since 2013 and 3865 PCPs has been trained. CCGDM Cycle 8 will deliver session once a month for four consecutive months (September 2022 to December 2022) covering four different modules on various aspects of gestational diabetes and their management. Case based learning and group discussions on current issues in gestational diabetes diagnosis, management, care and prevention will be the focus of this course.
